BMW CP4.2 M50d Fuel Pump Shaft (New)
The M50d CP4.2 pump shaft is designed to increase the performance of the CP4 pump. Once installed, the pump is capable of fueling systems requiring up to 550 HP.
Suitable for BMW N57 and B57 diesel engines equipped with a CP4.2 pump.
This shaft increases the pump’s stroke, allowing it to deliver more fuel per revolution while maintaining the factory pump design and control logic. This prevents fuel starvation under heavy loads and ensures stable engine operation in high-horsepower applications.
Application
Suitable for BMW N57 and B57 diesel engines with a CP4.2 pump.
Designed for engines where the standard pump capacity is insufficient.
Attention! Before purchasing, please verify your pump type:
Strictly fits only pumps with a flat surface (TYPE 1).
Installation Installation by professionals experienced with high-pressure fuel systems is highly recommended. However, DIY installation is possible if you have the proper tools and can work in extremely clean conditions, as any contamination can damage the pump or shorten its lifespan.
Recommendation While this shaft increases pump performance, it does not protect against the common failures associated with CP4 pumps. Therefore, it is highly recommended to simultaneously install a CP4 Disaster Prevention Kit, which protects the fuel lines and injectors in the event of a pump failure.
